 I'll be on the ballot May 19, 2026 with no democratic opponent and again on November 2nd for the general with a republican opponent . State representatives have 2-year terms. So in reality, we only get one year "off" of not running while also serving in office at the same time It's an exhausting “rinse and repeat cycle” on its own, and this dangerous political climate makes it even more daunting every day.
